The Hellenic Temple of Zeus Apollon and Pan, provides
religious services to the Hellenic Pagan Community of RI, as well as
to the greater Pagan Community herein. Worship at HTAZP is derived
and modified from the standard Hellenic sacrifice ritual from ancient
times. The Temple also offers education and networking in Greek
Traditional Religion. Most of our meetings occur at private Temple
space in Cranston RI, though we may also sponsor events throughout
the local area.
This temple is dedicated primarily to the
worship of its patrons: Apollon, Zeus and Pan. However, we honor all
the Immortals of ancient Hellas. All who share in this inclination
are welcome to worship in the temple space.
HTAZP's rituals
are currently on a semi-public basis - namely, you MUST email
the neokoros with a brief introduction (and preferably meet the
Neokoros in a public setting) prior to receiving directions to the
Temple space.
News!
Basics of Hellenismos Class is up for enrollment again. This class designed for people interested in learning about the modern religion/religions of Hellenismos. The course is online, 8 weeks in length, and covers an introduction to Hellenic Theology, Ritual Structure, and various Hellenic festival calendars. If you are interested in enrollment, please email the nekoros at neokoros@htazp.org with “Basics of Hellenismos” in the subject line. The course is scheduled to start in January although the exact date will be announced once there are enough people enrolled to run the course.

Puanepsia Celebration coming up! On Sunday, October 5, 2008 @ 1PM there will be a celebration for the Puanepsia, in honor of Apollon. We will be making individual charms out of bay leaves (eireseioni) to hang on our doors for good luck throughout the year as well as enjoy a celebratory rite followed by feast and fellowship. If you are interested in attending and will be in the Cranston, RI area please email the neokoros at neokoros@htazp.org.
